DustUp is the musical collaboration of Hank Fridell and Jeff Sweet. Hank and Jeff played music together during their college days in California, after which Hank moved to the Black Hills while Jeff settled near Monterey Bay. Over the next few decades Hank honed his bluegrass skills while Jeff's music tended toward the California folk/rock sound. Now reunited via the internet, their influences are nicely blended into a truly unique style. Their 2026 release, Dare to Dream, is the sixth project they have self-produced through their musical explorations.
